DES MOINES SPRINGFEST HORSE SHOW

Some of our staff and persons served were invited to assist Deanne Mundt in decorating the center ring for the Des Moines Springfest Horse Show. The horse show is an annual benefit event to raise money for Blank Children’s Hospital STAR Center. Deanne purchased all of the flowers for center ring from our greenhouse – then sold them to participants and visitors of the horse show. All proceeds raised from the sale of the flowers are donated to Blank. Prior to the show, the Day Program individuals were invited to visit Deanne at her stables, to meet her and her horses. As a special treat for their hard work, the individuals were able to attend the actual horse show the next morning.
